Additional Notes: West of the town of Sonoma, Grebnikoff Vineyard sits on the gentle undulating hillsides southeast of Sonoma Mountain. Interplanted with Merlot and Chardonnay, the Dowdell Creek runs down the base of Sonoma Mountain and parallel to the vineyard, eventually intersecting into the Sonoma Creek. The soils are full of gravelly alluvium that is high in quartz from the sedimentary rocks deposited through the Dowdell Creek.
